New Nike Aston Villa Kit

Nike Reveal New Aston Villa Home and Away Kit for 2007/08 Season

Aston Villa’s new Nike home and away kits for the 2007/08 season were officially unveiled today by manager Martin O’Neill and players Gareth Barry, Ashley Young, Olof Mellberg and Thomas Sorensen.

Nike Aston Villa Kit

The new Nike football kit combines a clean, modern look with the traditions of the club and feature the newly re-designed club crest. It has been made using Nike’s Dri-FIT fabric technology to transport moisture away from the skin to the fabric’s surface for rapid evaporation, keeping the player drier and more comfortable for longer.

The launch campaign for the new Nike Aston Villa kit is ‘We Start Today’ – signalling the intent of the club to recapture its former glory, under manager Martin O’Neill, and new chairman Randy Lerner’s bulging pockets!

The new Aston Villa kit can be ordered from the club from today. For more information visit www.avfc.co.uk

Whats the difference? I was excited when I heard Nike were sponsoring the Villa but cant help but feel the merchandising is a bit average.

Im in a predicament with this kit.

I like the idea that Nike is carrying out the traditional look with all its new kits this season, but why?? The game of football is surely moving forwards??

The Kit shown above is very much similar to the home kit of west ham is it not?!

Indeed, the game has evolved significantly and will continue to do so.

Nike are the sports leading brand and have made a massive impact upon the premier league and global football.

An average shirt no different from Hummel/Diadora and a missed opportunity
