Chelsea’s home shirt for the 2012 – 2013 campaign – trimmed in gold.

Gold is this years theme as the London club see the gold as ‘reflective of the year of sport and celebration in the capital in 2012’ ' (Olympics).

The kit goes gold on the adidas, Samsung and club crests,' continuing on the three stripes across the shoulders and the ˜CFC„motif seen on the rear of the neck.

Last season saw the re-introduction of red, to commemorate Chelsea FC’s historic relationship with the Chelsea Pensioners, whilst the season before that saw a bright yellow trim on the sleeves and collar that split fan opinion right down the middle!-No, the season before had a plain blue paneled shirt, the collar was before that.
