New Balance let Aaron Ramsey get all creative with his brand new Visaro 2.0.
The Visaro made its debut on pitch in early 2015 after being used in beta for several months in a ‘black out’ prototype, it made a quick impact. Now a regular on the Premier League scene, thanks to the likes of Aaron Ramsey, New Balance have worked with ‘Rambo’ to create this incredible Limited Edition version.
With only 100 made and available to fans, we take a closer look at the design and what it means. The boot, coated in the colours of his teams, holds a unique design which the gunners midfielder has taken inspiration from his tattoo on his left leg, which pays homage to his heritage.
The bold red New Balance logo sits firmly on top of the halftone design, reflecting the colours of Arsenal and Wales. Taking a closer look at the unique design, we see Saint Michael the Archangel wrapped around the lateral side of the boot, symbolising strength, power and leadership, all the qualities that Ramsey has.
Flipping the boot round, we see the rising sun over Caerphilly Castle sitting on the medial side of the boot, a place where Aaron Ramsey grew up.
The soleplate is coated in a striking, shiny metallic plating, completing the boot design. Created for the Arsenal midfielder, these boots will only be available in sizes UK 8.5 (US 8.75)

The overall design of these boots, with all the meaningful details, proves that no matter how big of a football star you become, you never forget where it all started.
