A smart collaboration between New Balance Football and Paul Smith results in a stunning take on the MiUK boots.
The iconic designer worked on a collection of footwear, including a men’s and women’s trainer, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the 576 trainers.
The boot follows on from highly popular MiUK boots, first released in 2016. The Paul Smith collab hold a modern twist to the original, with the boot created using white K-leather featuring a stylish signature stripe on the insole, tongue and heel. The original logo and details seen on the first model are kept the same.
Diving deeper into the materials, the Paul Smith x New Balance Football boot uses the latest fabric technology. Built to deliver superior traction, comfort and durability, the new boot is built with a Lightweight Super-Flex Nylon sole plate. The Asymmetrical internal heel counter offers ultimate protection for the achilles, with the removable Fresh Foam footbed providing extreme comfort.
Speaking on the new collaboration, Kenny McCallum, general manager of New Balance said:
Collaborating with such an iconic fashion brand and working alongside the artisan designers at Paul Smith has been a pleasure. We’re proud to have manufactured athletic footwear in the UK for the past 35 years, and we remain one of the only global athletic brands to do so.
