They’ve only gone and done it again.. New Balance football treated football fans to a classy, stunning new look for Liverpool FC’s home kit for the 2018/19 season.
New Balance have officially released the new home kit for the in form red’s 208/19 campaign, focusing the “This Means More” feeling that all fans share about the club, when they pull the jersey on,.
Liverpool Fc are sitting pretty happy right now, top 4 in the league, Champions League semi finalists for the first time in 10 years and have one of the most popular bosses in the world, Liverpool fans have huge smiles on their faces. So what better way to inspire players and fans than with the “This Means More” Campaign, featuring a beautifully designs Pepper-Red home shit, unveiled today by New Balance.
The new two buttoned polo collar home shirt is packed full of New Balance innovative technology. Their NB DRY tech material is built through the entire shirt, which wicks moisture away from the skin, keeping players dry for the entire match. Upon closer inspection of the new Liverpool kit, the gorgeous Red-Pepper colour features a jacquard graphic pattern, taking inspiration from the stunning architecture of Anfield’s new Main Stand.
As we’eve seen with previous LFC releases, in honour of the 96 lives lost in Hillsborough, the 96 emblem and eternal flames sit proudly on the nape of the neck. Another feature brought back, seen on the 125th anniversary home kit, are the top shoulder bonded tape and embroidered crest.
It’s fair to say that New Balance have considered all details and created a beautiful looking shirt, with a beautiful story to accompany it. Hats off to you New Balance, we can’t wait to see this shirt in action!
