Replacing their classic blue colour to a smart air blue look, New Balance football and FC Porto drop their brand new third kit for the 2017/18 season.
We’ve seen some stunning designs for clubs home and away shirts, but not so much for third kits. FC Porto’s new third kit however is so good, that it can be mistaken for the home! The new shirt holds a clean, stylish design, that we’ve seen more and more of from New Balance Football releases. ‘Joga Sem Fronteiras’ or ‘Play Without Boundaries’ is the tagline that is used in the release of this third kit, which suits the Portuguese club perfectly.
New Balance have taken inspiration from the colours of Latin America, with detail added to the air blue coloured jersey. Navy colour sits on the rib style collar, with the same added to the cuffs and hem of the shirt. The words ‘Futebol Club do Porto’ sits on the nape of the neck, with the New Balance logo placed next to the clubs crest.
The kit if finished off with air blue socks, which hold more than any regular socks. New Balance have developed the foot bed of these bad boys with polypropylene to alleviate excess moisture when the foot makes contact with the boot. Zonal Cushioning has also been added to the ankle and Achilles area of the socks, to add the perfect comfort and cushioning the players need.
New Balance Football and FC Porto have released a very nice third kit which will no doubt be a hit amongst footballing fans. We personally can’t wait to see what they have in store for the Home and Away kit for next season.
