The iconic Oporto blue and white stripes return for another season in the brand new FC Porto Home kit from New Balance Football.
FC Porto have constantly kept their iconic Oporto blue and white stripes for their home kit since 1909, with kit sponsors New Balance sticking with this tradition in the brand new home strip. Apart from looking stunning, the new kit is also packed full of Performance technology, from shirt to socks.
The new FC Porto jersey is developed using New Balance Dry Technology, a moisture wicking fabric that helps keep players cool and dry whilst wicking sweat from the body, drying incredibly fast. One of the most important qualities in football shirts is how freely the athlete can move around during their high intensity games, without any restrictions. New Balance have recognised this and have added a body map mesh to the back of the shirt, along with 3D mesh underarms regions, aiding movement and air flow around the body.
The design of the shirt holds a smart white rib crest neck collar and cuffs with tipping detail, creating smart looking kit. The full coloured clubs crest sits nicely on the chest, with the full white NB logo opposite. Speaking about the brand new home kit, FC Porto player Alex Telles said:

If you think New Balance have added their technology to the shirt only, then you are wrong. The kit is completed with Oporto Blue shorts and white socks, with Zonal Cushioning added to the ankle and achilles area of the socks, adding extra cushioning and comfort. The socks, like with the FC Porto third kit, have also been developed with polypropylene. This works to alleviate excess moisture in the foot when it makes contact with the boot.
