A special club that holds such a unique story get a stunning, smart new home kit for their 2018/19 campaign.
New balance have unveiled the brand new home kit for Athletic Club, taking the rich and iconic heritage as inspiration. The kit is ran by “Loyal to the Last” campaing, showing off the unbreakable bond the club has with is incredible city and fans.
As we experienced last year during our visit to the home of Athletic Club, this is a club that holds its city and its fans close to their hearts. You feel it all around the city when you are there and this carries on into throughout the club. New Balance have taken this as inspiration and created a stunning new home kit.
Engineered using their innovative NB DRY technology, Athletic Club’s new kit carries a lot of depth. The jersey wicks moisture away from the skin to help keep players dry and feeling fresh throughout the 90 minutes.
The iconic red and white stripes of Athletic Club still feature on the jersey in a clean cut style, sitting aside a very smart black crossover V-neck collar and top shoulder bonded tape. The spirit of famous Athletic Player “Pichichi”, to the stunning architecture of the San Mamés stadium, the kit brings together influence fro, the local culture with a nod to the legacy of the club. The embroidered clubs crest sits proudly opposite the white NB logo.
Black shorts and socks complete the stunning kit, with a concealed stretch fabric insert running down the side of the shorts and shirt. The socks feature an elasticated ankle zone and rib achilles adding cushioned protection to help boosts players power and comfort.
