Decked out in an all0over blue colour with metallic, swirling print on the upper, Mizuno have brought a sense of elegance and designer flair to a boot messaged on it’s power and ruthless accuracy.
Set to be the new signature colourway of Keisuke Honda for the start of the year, the Mizuno Wave Ignitus III – Diva Blue / White provides a smart match to the Samurai blue home shirt of Japan and a sharp contrast to the Red and Black his club side, AC Milan.
With an array of friction and contact-boosting fins and panels, the Mizuno Wave Ignitus III is all about providing aggressive feel for the ball in set-piece situations.
As well as Swiss Army-knife level of kicking styles accounted for, Mizuno have also based the Wave Ignitus III on a very solid platform.
The Primeskin upper has proven popular on not just the Ignitus, but the new Basara TC-001, too, thanks to it’s soft feel and minimal water uptake.
Further to that, a carbon soleplate stabilises the Wave cushioning and support system, with an innovative traction plate based around bladed stability and a unique, free-moving, triangular pattern under the ball of the foot for freedom of movement.
