McCLAREN AT EURO 2008, WE’RE NOT!

EnglandSteve McClaren will be at Euro 2008, despite failing his country and not qualifying with England.

The former England manager will be working for the BBC at Euro 2008. Steve McClaren has been contracted to work for BBC Radio 5 Live and will travel to Euro 2008, whilst the rest of the nation looks on. McClaren has supposedly been booked to offer ‘expert analysis’ for the events in Austria and Switzerland.

Steve McClaren, who failed to qualify for Euro 2008 despite an abundance of England talent and experience in the squad, will first offer his views on the side that qualified in place of England, Croatia.

McClaren who has been out of work since being sacked by the FA for his failure to get to the finals, has made it abundantly clear in the press that he is looking to make an immediate return to club football, is yet to find anyone willing to take him.

The English public will no doubt question the audacity of McClaren’s attendance at the tournament in a professional capacity, as England were blessed with so much quality, experience and talent during their qualifying period.

It’s a travesty, McClaren shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near English football again.

If not for him, we’d be looking forward to the summer of football.

    Thanks McCLaren!
