Forbes magazine has rated Real Madrid the most valuable football club in the world.
Forbes values Real Madrid at £2.2bn with Manchester United in 2nd place and Barcelona 3rd.
Arsenal was ranked the fourth richest club, followed by Bayern Munich, AC Milan , Chelsea, ' Juventus, Manchester City and Liverpool.
Real Madrid topped the charts, despite the economic difficulties Spain are facing. The figures are drawn from a variety of different revenue streams such as; TV broadcasting, ticket sales, merchandise and sponsorship such as the recent shirt renewal deal with adidas.
In terms of highest earning players, David Beckham still ranks top!
