Wes Brown will be missing from Manchester United’s line up for the next 5 weeks while striker Dimitar Berbatov is out of their next 2 games.
Brown is still recovering from an ankle operation having last played at the back end of last month.
Meanwhile Berbatov was injured on international duty in midweek and limped out of Bulgaria’s 6 – 1 mauling by Serbia with a hamstring problem.
Brown has impressed this season and recently manager Alex Ferguson rewarded him with a contract to stay at the club until 2012. However, the club do have cover at right back through Gary Neville and John O’Shea with Rafael Da Silva also a possible replacement.
Berbatov has been ruled out of the games against Aston Villa this weekend and the midweek trip to Villarreal in the Champions League.
