Ever since launching the first laceless football boot in 2002, Lotto have persevered with their concept, constantly tweaking and improving the design of their most distinctive boot.
Now, the Zhero Gravity III 100 is back with an equally distinctive colourway to match, in this Black Metal / Neon Green colour-up.
Still the world’s only laceless football boot, the Zhero Gravity III 100' uses elastic ribs on both the tongue and heel to lock the boot onto a player’s foot for a supposedly seamless fusion of foot and upper.
Generally, the feedback we get on the Zhero Gravity and it’s past incarnations has been reasonably positive – but one thing many players say is that your feet have to be ‘right’ for the boot; with no laces to slacken off and adjust the fit, you’ve got to have the right fit from the get go. In other words, sizing is everything!
Technology-wise, a laceless upper isn’t the only feature that the Zhero Gravity III 100 brings to the table.
Puntoflex and ReactiveArch both focus on proper energy return on every step you take in the boot, ensure the boot’s soleplate flexes and bows ergonomically for sure-footed propulsion.
The Lotto Zhero Gravity III 100‘s Upper is also water-repellant this time out, as well as super-thin. Bad news though, guys, the Twist’n’Go stud has been eighty-sixed. We’ll pour one out in it’s honour.
Looking like the right balance of moody black metal and ‘pop’ neon green, we’re really big fans of this Zhero Gravity colourway – but, what matters most is what you guys think of it!
