Adidas were relying on that level of blind, garment-swapping trust when they pulled their latest stunt in Williamson Square, at the heart of Liverpool!
Asking fans if they’d like to trade the shirt off their backs for the new Liverpool home shirt released this week, adidas weren’t fussy! Trading kids tee-shirts, sensible knitwear and even an NFL jersey, there were smiles all around as the square was filled with people donning red jerseys!
adidas said of the event:

To celebrate them and the new home shirt going on sale adidas went to Williamson Square in the heart of Liverpool and gave hundreds of fans the chance to do a swap: give us your shirt and we’ll give you the new home shirt!
As you can see from the video and pictures, it looks like it was bags of fun for all involved!
