On Monday night, Leo Messi accomplished another seemingly-impossible feat; scooping his third consecutive FIFA Ballon D’or and reclaiming his title of World Player of the Year.

adidas took this opportunity to flaunt their prize asset with a short viral video celebrating the Argentine’s incredible accomplishment.

As well as showing off some of Messi’s highlight reel over the past three years, the man himself provides the voiceover dedicating the 2012 Ballon D’or to his many fans and team-mates.

There’s some great Messi memories included in this clip, including snippets from the ‘Catch Him if You Can’ event (where Footy-Boots.com grabbed an exclusive interview with him) and – of course – some footage of the Barca ace in his customary adiZero football boots.
