France Home Kit 2009 /2011' France Away Kit 2010 / 2012
France are a team with a lot to prove at this summer’s World Cup; former winners of the competition and finalists in 2006, Les Bleus scraped into the competition via a controversial qualification match with the Republic of Ireland.
It’s clear that long-time sponsor adidas still have faith in them, though, as they’ve designed a stunning White Away kit for this summer’s World Cup. The new kit had it’s debut at the Stade de France in a friendly match against Spain, which unfortunately saw France go down 2-0 to the European champs.
We especially like the pinstripe of the new Away Kit here in the Footy-Boots office, as it helps to break up white of the rest of the shirt. We’re also quite keen on the design of the collar, it’s nice to see a brand spending time doing something a little different for each kit.
We know it’s been out a couple of months now, but we thought it’d be a good time to show off the France Home Kit as well. In a traditional Midnight Blue this is the kit that will be worn by the likes of Franc Ribery, Nicolas Anelka and Patrice Evra as they look to put a wretched qualification behind them and progress in this summer’s tournament.
The kit, made by adidas, incorporates the innovative Formotion technology which offers maximum comfort and perfect fit, with features like three-dimensional design, different combinations of fabrics for greater flexibility and special stitching to eliminate friction during intense action.
Additionally, Climacool, with special fabrics placed in key points of the body, allows air to penetrate the fabric keeping the player cool, dry and comfortable.
