Fergie’s Sympathy Vote for Rafa

Fergie feels for Rafa, not because Liverpool have failed to win in the Premier League this year, or because they find themselves 14 points adrift of the top spot. Nope, neither is it because they look set to be losing Mascherano and Sissoko to Juve. Fergie says he thinks the way the board have treated Rafa is bad business!

“What happened was a bad piece of business on Liverpool’s part, no doubt about that,” Fergie said. link

Then he slipped into his big leather chair, behind his mahogany desk, poured a fine glass of claret and did a Muttley. Hear Fergie laughing

Burley Confirmed as Scotland Boss

George Burley has been confirmed as the new Scotland manager. Adebayor: Nicklas Bendtner, Your ‘S**T’

Togetherness, team spirit, playing for each other….. Arsene Wenger has been preaching this all season. One lousy result against Spurs and Arsenal are all over the place. Oops, silly Footy Boots, you didn’t see it. link Fortunately, Bendtner’s Daddy did. link

Staying at Arsenal, Wenger is said to be loaning out Theo Walcott. Walcott who was taken to the last World Cup by Sven, has looked out of his league in the Premier and may be hitting the dizzy heights of………. Reading! But only if they promise to play him as centre forward, and let him take the penalties and throw ins. link

African Cup of Nations

Both of yesterday’s games ended in draws. Tunisia were fortunate to share the points with Senegal, the game ended 2-2. In the other tie, South Africa and Angola ended 1-1. Manchester United bound Manucho scored a blinding diving header for Angola, that demonstrates why the Red Devils have signed him, subject to the work permit going through.

The second group games start tonight, Ghana v Namibia, Guinea v Morocco, both in Group A.
WAGs (wives and girlfriends)

David Beckham won’t need to give his WAG Posh her £40 allowance this week. She has reportedly earned herself a cool £10 million touring with the Spice Girls – imagine how much she’d get if she could sing. Spice Girls £10 Million
