Fergie’s Sympathy Vote for Rafa
Fergie feels for Rafa, not because Liverpool have failed to win in the Premier League this year, or because they find themselves 14 points adrift of the top spot. Nope, neither is it because they look set to be losing Mascherano and Sissoko to Juve. Fergie says he thinks the way the board have treated Rafa is bad business!
“What happened was a bad piece of business on Liverpool’s part, no doubt about that,” Fergie said. link
Then he slipped into his big leather chair, behind his mahogany desk, poured a fine glass of claret and did a Muttley. Hear Fergie laughing

But only if they promise to play him as centre forward, and let him take the penalties and throw ins. link
African Cup of Nations
Both of yesterday’s games ended in draws. Tunisia were fortunate to share the points with Senegal, the game ended 2-2. In the other tie, South Africa and Angola ended 1-1. Manchester United bound Manucho scored a blinding diving header for Angola, that demonstrates why the Red Devils have signed him, subject to the work permit going through.
The second group games start tonight, Ghana v Namibia, Guinea v Morocco, both in Group A.
