Whilst we’re self-confessed FIFA-holics here at Footy-Boots.com towers, we’re all massive fans of how Konami keep adding new football boots and kits to PES 2012 – so we keep reporting it in the hopes that EA Sports will follow suit!

As of yesterday evening, the latest Winter Update DLC is available for you PES-ers to download at your leisure.
New roster updates are the centerpiece of the pack following the January Transfer window, whilst improved teammate AI and tweaks to the online mode’s matchmaking also come into play.
But what we know you’re really after are the latest pieces of footy equipment to make your PES 2012 experience as rich as possible!
Fans of the latest round of adidas Euro 2012 Kit launches are in for a treat as Germany and Spain get updated Away kits, whilst Japan’s stunning white change jersey also makes the cut.
And whilst Nike’s kits don’t make it into this pack, their football boots certainly do, as their Spring 2012 editions of the T90 Laser IV, Superfly III, CTR360 II and Tiempo Legend IV Elite all sit nicely alongside the adidas’ Prime Blue / Core Energy adiZero‘s, Slime / Navy adiPower Predator and the two launch colourways for the adiPure 11pro.
Additionally, those wanting to add extra authenticity to their Champions League fixtures will be overjoyed to learn they have the new Finale Munich match ball to play with.
Whilst we’re gutted not to see the new England Home Shirt included, as well as some new boots from the likes of Puma, Mizuno and Umbro we think that’s a pretty good little haul to be going on with. And as always, it’s free – so who are we to really complain?
Let us know what boots you’re glad to see included, and which you think should have made the cut in the comments!
i get mad at FIFA every year for not doing this. People seem to think that boots don’t really matter but I think they do a lot to the authenticity of the atmosphere on the pitch. When i watch a game on tv and then play FIFA and they’re in old colorways it really bothers me. And why does Arsenal have white socks on FIFA?!
why does Arsenal *NOT have white socks on FIFA?
why does Arsenal *NOT have white socks on FIFA?
It still beats me that Ronaldo isn’t retired yet in this game: they have the licence of the copa libertadores but still Ronaldo is playin’ at corinthians. There is no Beckham ANYWHERE to be found and Ronaldinho too… Untill Henry played for Arsenal once more even he was excluded (normally they put players like that in the “Classic” Packs but I think they just aren’t good enough??????????????? Shame on You PES, REALLY SHAME ON YOU
Can anyone explain why Fifa dont do this? If anyone has a licence it should be them! They seem to be able to update squads and even billboards in game so why not boots!!
