England have all but completed their 2009 fixture calendar after arranging a friendly with the Netherlands in Amsterdam on 12th August.
England have only one date yet to be finalized, the 12th February, when they are expected to play Spain although the Spanish FA have yet to decide upon a venue.
The game against the Dutch will precede vital World Cup qualifying matches against Croatia and Ukraine.
As part of the deal, the Netherlands, who are currently ranked fourth in the latest Fifa rankings, will play a return fixture at Wembley in August 2011.
England last played against the men in orange back in November 2006 when Wayne Rooney scored in a 1 – 1 draw.
Other matches already scheduled for 2009 include friendlies against Slovenia and Slovakia in March and September respectively.
