Italian football boot brand Diadora have revealed one of the two lead colourways that their lightweight Diadora DD-NA 2 GLX 14 will be kicking off the year in; and it’s pretty smart!
Officially Black / White / Yellow, you can probably tell there’s a little more going on with these football boots than just three colours – something we can see as being quite divisive.
Up in the front, we’ve got Black with Fluo Yellow Diadora branding – something that evokes memories of classic past Diadora efforts like the 90’s Maracana, and the more recent Evoluzione.
Whilst the rear quarter comes alive with white, red and green: the colours of the Italian flag. No doubt a nod to Diadora’s heritage and their roots on this, their most modern of football boots.
Other than the colour, these are the same Diadora DD-NA 2 GLX 14 that have been growing steadily in stature since their launch last year.
Their forgiving Suprell3LPro upper is great for accommodating wider feet, and doesn’t compromise in the touch stakes when it comes to controlling the ball at speed.
The single-piece upper, low profile heel counter and central lacing system aren’t the only similarities that put the Diadora DD-NA 2 GLX 14 toe-to-toe with football’s lightest boots like the f50, Vapor and evoSPEED; the 176g weight point keeps them right in the mix when it comes to on-foot feel, too.
Speaking of on-foot-feel, the DD-NA 2 GLX 14 is also packing some neat technology to keep your hooves feeling fresh for 90 minutes and more.
As you may well expect from a Diadora shoe by now, the Italian brand have worked their NET Breathing System into the shoe; a unique mesh and Pebax construction that allows the boot to perform as well as any other boot in the flexibility stakes, whilst allowing air to get into the shoe and moisture to get out.

isn’t the other colourway already released? The white/black/yellow one.
