CUDICINI SIGNS FOR SPURS

Spurs badgeCarlo Cudicini has left Chelsea on a free transfer and moved across London to join Tottenham.

The Italian had been at Chelsea since 1999 and was voted as the club’s player of the year in 2002. However, since the arrival of Petr Cech, he’s found it difficult to break his way back in to the first team.

The Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has been looking for goalkeeping cover since he let Cesar Sanchez go earlier this month.

A Chelsea statement read:

grafite Chelsea can confirm Carlo Cudicini has signed for Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Carlo for his years of service and wish him well.
