Concave continue to impress. The boots with the ‘Sweet Spot’ has been redesigned in three silos: Volt, Aura and Halo. Here we showcase the Halo +, the boot ‘built for the creative controller’.
CONCAVE HALO +
Concave describe the Volt + as:
“A boot with all the elements you need to take control and orchestrate the speed of play.”
The Halo + is made with a textured synthetic microfibre upper with ‘Predator-Like’ rubber moulds on the vamp. The firm ground plate has clear oval shaped and bladed studs, laid out so you get even pressure distribution on the turf.
You will have noticed the section on the top of the Halo where the laces are. It’s officially known as PowerStrike Technology. Its purpose is to improve your striking ability, by providing a larger sweet spot to achieve improved contact on the ball.
Another difference you will find with a Concave boot is the lacing, it’s branded F3 (Football Form Fit). From the toe end of your foot the lacing is regular, but then it switches beneath the PowerStrike Technology to help improve the fit and lockdown of your foot.
Moving inside the Halo there are two things of note: Firstly, it comes with Innovative Fusion lining. In short this maintains the construction and shape of the boot and anyone who is familiar with modern synthetic uppers will know that this is a useful add-on.
The second bit of tech is the removable ‘Shock Absorbing Cushioning & Energy Return’ sockliner which is perforated for ultra-breathability.
