The entries are in, the lines are closed, the judges have consulted and we have a winner.
Over the past couple of weeks we’ve been asking you to come up with your best Xmas card greetings for a player or manager of your choice with a pair of Concave PT1 football boots, signed by Kenny Dalglish, the prize for the winner.
Entries poured in from around the globe some funny, some harsh and some just plain insulting! And after a hard session of judging, it came down to a short list of two.
Our runner up is James Aylward who came up with this gem:
Dear Didier Drogba
Thanks so much for the early Christmas present of 10p. It was a novel idea getting it to me during the Burnley match, however it didn’t pay off as I have had to get reconstructive surgery to correct the damage done. Next time, please send it through the post rather than through the air. On a lighter note, I contributed the 10p towards this greetings card to let you know.
Merry Christmas!
James
But our winner was this seasonal effort from Elliot Newman who wrote:
Dear Sir Alex
Rudolph is not feeling well so I was hoping we could use your red nose to guide my sleigh tonight.
Do let me know when you can.
Regards
Santa
Congratulations Elliot, a brand new, signed pair of Concaves will be with you soon.
