There’s been a lot of talk in the Press about Fabio Capello’s squad choices recently; so we want you to tell us:

Which is the one player that England need to include in the game against France and why?

Is it a member of the old guard like Steven Gerrard or Joe Cole?

Or is it a new youngster like Andy Carroll or Adam Johnson?

Let us know in the comments and you could be at Wembley next week!

Don™t worry if you™re not lucky enough to win, it™s never been easier to show your support, with tickets for the game available at www.TheFA.com/tickets

Neither Footy-Boots.com or the FA will be providing transport to the game, so you’ve got to be able to get to the game next Wednesday in order to claim the prize – the competition closes at midnight of Sunday the 14th of November, so make sure your entries are in by then!

Good Luck!

For me the one player England need to include is Theo Walcott.

His finishing has improved alot over the summer and it would be interesting to see him take on his Arsenal team mate Gael Clichy down the right flank. Surely two of the fastest players in world football going head to head!

England need to primarily include Steven Gerrard because of his current great form at his club (his hatrick, which took 13 minutes to complete, last Thursday proves this point). As well as that he provides a back bone to the team and can play any where across the midfield. Moreover, Steven Gerrard is arguably the best central midfielder in the world too (many may say Xavi and Iniesta) and Fabio Capello cannot afford to leave the best midfielder in the world, Steven Gerrard, out of England’s team.

The player that should be included in this match should definitely should be Adam Johnson. He has 2 goals in his first 6 matches for England and has proven to be a up and coming star with his skills on Manchester City. Adam Johnson is going to be a future star for England no doubt. O and I forgot to mention that he is only 23.

defo gerrard no matter where he plays he still preforms, also jonson on the wing with barry holding. also using joe cole. id go for a roony/ bent partenered with a pacy player like defoe

    Andy Carroll.

Capello’s love for a big target man, Andy fits his requirements nicely. Heskey didn’t score, Andy does. Crouch doesn’t hold the ball up, Andy does. And what happened to picking players on form? He is the old classic number 9. It’s about time he got his chance.

Its got to be a player with a hunger for international caps rather than a tried and tested regular we need players out there that take pride in wearing an England shirt players who are fighting for ever cap for me i’d go for Andy Carroll

I think that Fabio should continue to let Rooney and Gerrard continue to work together, since this seems to be Englands best choice up front in the future.
