Patrick Vieira looks set to complete his move back to the Premier League after arriving at Manchester City to undergo a medical.
The former Arsenal star, who was signed by current City Roberto Mancini when he was in charge at Inter Milan, is expected to put pen to paper sometime tomorrow.
If the Frenchman does join City he will become Mancini’s first signing since succeeding Mark Hughes at the City of Manchester Stadium in December.
Vieira spent 9 years with Arsenal, moving to Juventus for just shy of £14 million in the summer of 2005. However, he spent just one season in Turin before signing for Inter where he won two Serie A titles under Mancini in 2007 and 2008.
He won a third successive Scudetto last term but has made only 16 appearances in all competitions this time round – with most of those coming as a substitute.
