The London side could be set to play Frank Lampard in midfield. The England international has been on compassionate leave following the recent death of his mother.

Meanwhile John Arne Riise, scorer of a dramatic own goal in the first game, could replace the injured Fabio Aurelio in the Liverpool side.

Manager Rafa Benitez is also expcted to start with leading scorer Fernando Torres after the Spaniard was rested for the weekend Premier League draw away to Birmingham.

The ‘all-English’ final will take place in Moscow on 21st May.
