Celtic and Arsenal will go head to head this week, with the victor taking the prize of a place in the Champions League groups.
Wenger confident of overcoming Celtic.
The two legged tie between Scottish Premier League runners-up Celtic and Arsenal who finished fourth in the English Premier League is a mouth watering challenge for such an early stage of the season.
Celtic opened their domestic season by beating Aberdeen away 3-1, whislt Arsenal demolished Everton 6-1.
With the first leg of the tie at the imposing Parkhead, Celtic will be looking to get an early advantage and their striker Aiden McGeady, who scored two against Aberdeen is confident:
' We know we are the underdogs and they are obviously the favourites but they are definitely beatable.
A lot of teams in the Premier League beat them last season by getting in and around them and not letting them play and that’s something we have to do on Tuesday night.
Arsene Wenger is wary but also confident in his sides ability:
' I watched some of their match with Aberdeen but for my taste, the game was too easy for them.
Games in Scotland are always special. There is a special atmosphere in the stands but we have played in many stadiums in Europe and we can deal with that, I believe.
Our confidence will have been lifted by our own result but we will still have to be alert because we know that every game is different and it is up to us to show how much we have matured as a team.
