Mizuno Football Boots

In the space of 4 years, Mizuno have gone from a cult-favourite brand to a full-blown phenomenon.

The Japanese brand gained fame in the 70’s and 80’s by with the Morelia, a super-thin leather football boot with a classic moulded plate – designed specifically to cater to the needs of fleet-footed, skilful Brazilians.

But the 2010 launch of the Wave Ignitus propelled the Osaka-based brand to a whole new level, as they revealed a boot that was comfortable, lightweight, packed with technology and had some seriously cool unique selling points.

Since then, Mizuno have gone from strength-to-strength, developing the Supersonic Wave and Morelia Neo into another two well-received silos, as well as signing up the likes of Hulk, Jonas, Keisuke Honda and more.
