BRAZILIAN RONALDO TO START OWN COMPANY

Brazilian Legend Ronaldo is set to start his own Sports marketing company when he retires next year.

The former A.C. Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid striker is currently seeing out a one-year contract extension with Corinthians, after which he has stated he will retire from football.

However, Ronaldo has stated in an interview this week that he’s already set the wheels in motion to start his new business venture next year.

Ronaldo told the Estado de S. Paulo newspaper he is opening a sports marketing company to take advantage of Brazil’s solid economy and the opportunities which will arise with the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The three-time FIFA player of the year says the company, called “9ine,” will keep him busy and help improve the football business in Brazil.

The 33-year-old striker says he also wants to get into the business of buying and selling players.

This won’t be the first time that Ronaldo has got into a big money venture, as he is currently co-owner of the A1 Brazil Racing team.

We wish big Ron the best of luck when he eventually retires, as he is a figure that, in partnership with Nike, helped to shape the way the football boots world functions today.

Outlandish signature colourways, big money contracts, sponsorship controversy and even the modern version of ‘speed’ football boots were all brought into focus during the Brazilian Legend’s time on the pitch, and we thank him for all that!

Hands down my idol. Hurt me to watch the world fall down on him the way that they did, they picked on him to the point where he confessed that he was traumatized.

The one and only and no matter what, the greatest player that my eyes have had the pleasure of witnessing.

Good luck Ronnie, hope your future endevours give you as much happiness are your goals gave me.

    Cheers

Viva Ronaldo Forever. The REAL Ronaldo.
If I were a billionare I would buy him and put him in my team just to showcase who the real legend is.
May not be able to run – but some of the chances that strikers miss nowadays(even the so called good ones) Ronaldo will always put away.
I must admit that the quality of striking as an art these days has fallen greatly.

I have heard word that he could be moving to an Australian club, also if footy boots could help me out, who knows about the A-League and how well do you know it compared to other leagues
