As if we haven’t been spoiled enough by all-black speed football boots this summer, adidas are offering up a black-out F50 adiZero for the first time this generation.
Looking lethal in leather and a splash of electricity detailing, we’re definitely getting yet another fan-favourite vibe from this latest update.
Even with it’s status as one of adidas’ most popular football boots, some people find it difficult to ‘buy into’ the F50 adiZero thanks to it’s propensity for bright colours and garish combos.
Which is why we know that a black-out version is always close to the top of every boot fans wish-list; traditionalists get to take a more modern boot for a spin without the flash that comes with it, and fans of the boot know that black-outs always look straight-up bad ass.
And there can be no doubt the latest F50 adiZero has that second factor down, pat. As we mentioned in our review, the new generation of adidas’ signature speed boot is definitely the best-looking version of the F50’s to date, and looks even better in black.
We’re sure you’re familiar with what’s under the hood of the adidas F50 adiZero, but just in case you need a refresher:
The goleo upper is a calf-skin leather for soft comfort and touch with additional waterproofing. The whole boot is built around a SprintFrame chassis for an overall weight of around 180g per boot.
Traxion 2.0 studs offer enhanced stability and off-centre lacing provides a larger contact zone for crosses and passes.
Did we miss anything? Good! Out today, the adidas F50 adiZero in Black / Electricity can be found on the Footy-Boots.com store.
