Arsenal have confirmed that Tomas Rosicky and Abou Diaby will miss the run in to the season because of injury.
Rosicky has been out of the side since the turn of the year with a hamstring problem and as well as missing the Gunners three remaining games, he now faces a battle to be fit for Euro 2008 where he was expected to captain the Czech Republic.
Meanwhile Diaby ruptured a tendon in his thigh at the beginning of the week playing in a reserve team game.
Both join the suspended Alexander Hleb on the sidelines who will also miss the matches against Derby, Everton and Sunderland.
