adidas have been tapping into a very rich vein of form when it comes to colourways recently, with all their current boots getting some very exciting makeovers for the summer – however, one that was left neglected until now was the adiPure SL, which turns out to have been worth the wait!
adiPure SL – Zero Metallic/Black/Matte Gold football boots
Despite not having been seen on many pitches since their release (just one by our counts!) the' adiPure SL has certainly reached a level of reverence among football boots fans that many other cleats would be envious of.
The marriage of the adiPure’s sumptuous K-leather upper and the adiZero’s SprintFrame has proven to be a popular one, as many fans quickly snapped up the 200g boot in it’s limited edition package.
Now, though, fans will be spoilt for choice as adidas launch the adiPure SL – Zero Metallic/Black/Matte Gold, which we have to say, looks pretty stunning.
Despite it’s modern trappings, we think the white is a perfect retro-colour choice for the follow up to the classic black launch colourway, and the black and gold trim really fleshes out that classy feel.
adidas are certainly establishing the adiPure SL as one of the premier football boots in their considerable range, as the adiPure SL – Zero Metallic/Black/Matte Gold will – like the launch colourway – come in a special edition packaging with a boot bag, cloth and leather creme.
As with the other football boots in adidas’ latest colourway releases, the adiPure SL – Zero Metallic/Black/Matte Gold is due for retail release on June 1st; costing £175/$250.
