adidas are launching a five silo assault on 2015 with some exciting new colourways and redesigns to coincide with their new ‘There Will Be Haters’ campaign.
As the launch video stars Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Luis Suarez and Karim Benzema, it’s no surprise to see the adidas f50 adizero take centre stage, with an all-new model entering a legacy of lightweight speed that began at the 2010 World Cup.
adidas are calling the new f50 a ‘revolutionary’ new design including a “ghost” graphic, sleek Solar Red / White colourway and new 3-Stripes branding down the tongue and heel for a less-is-more approach to the branding.
A 3D dribbletex layer on the upper allows for better speed dribbling in wet or dry conditions.
The outsole has also had a complete re-design, with a new grip texture and stud configuration – including a three-stud heel – with a second level of traction on the forefoot base, inspired by sprint spikes.
The adidas 11pro gets it’s third colourway after a redesign towards the end of last year refocused the boot on comfort, fit and touch.
The skeleton in the heel and forefoot offers a better fit and increased stability. The all-new comfort outsole also features a comfort frame which distributes pressure across the shoe, while new smaller studs provide perfect ground penetration.
The leather upper provides an ultra-comfortable fit as well as optimum control.
Already spotted on the feet of Manchester City’s Martin Demichelis , expect to see Toni Kroos and Philip Lahm join him in these slick football boots soon.
Following last year’s 20th anniversary of the iconic boot, the Predator has also been given an aesthetic re-design to kick off 2015 in.
In this bold Solar Red / Night Flash colourway, the adidas Predator Instinct looks a great match for kits like Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
A newly designed super-soft Hybridtouch upper provides all the benefits of leather and synthetic. The 3D engineered SL rubber zones, combined with the newly engineered gel pod, provide optimal grip on the ball and an enhanced capability for precision passing.
The control frame chassis provides ultimate contact with the ball, with the transparent outsole setting off a nice striped aesthetic that runs through the whole boot.
Nitrocharge has been re-energised with the latest technology. The energy-sling positioning has been adjusted to create a greater lockdown on the foot, ensuring maximum energy transfer between the foot and the shoe.
The EnergyPulse ‘wave’ you see on the sole of the boot also enhances propulsion by creating maximum elastic return on the Nitrocharge 1.0 – again, enforcing that idea of the boot being more efficient with the movements of the body.
Nitrocharge is the perfect boot for “The Engine”, box-to-box, all-action player and starts off 2015 in this Amazon Purple colourway that looks the absolute business.
A final, welcome, addition to the adidas ‘There Will Be Haters’ range of football footwear is the adidas FreeFootball Boost.
After a launch late last year, demand for the Freefootball Boost has been high, as it is the first shoe to bring adidas lauded Boost foam to football.
We’re sure that demand is only going to get even higher, as adidas kit out this small-sided shoe in the same pattern and colour as the lead f50 adizero for the campaign.
The world’s most hated players will wear the all-new adidas adizero f50, adidas Predator, adidas Nitrocharge and adidas 11Pro on field from January 23rd, with the boots available to purchase from Monday 2nd February

The Freefootball Boost would be nice if it had a high quality natural leather upper, especially in the near blackout Messi colorway. For the price that synthetic upper just doesn’t cut it.
the 11Pro is the best looking 11Pro of the last 2 generations of the boot.
