After yet another successful season for Real Madrid, with the League and European titles in the bag, it’s time to present the Champions with they’re brand new Home and Aways kit for the coming season.
The new kits hold a powerful link between the club, their loyal fans, and the beautiful city of Madrid, with adidas football recognising the strong roots that the Real Madrid team is built on.
The famous white home jersey is designed to bring the players and fans of Real Madrid closer together, with a shirt that is suited to the streets of Madrid and the Santiago Bernabeu. The link between club and city is strong, with the sky blue stripes and lettering holding a more unique meaning than you think. Representing the blue skies of Madrid, the iconic three stripes run across the shoulder, along with the blue details of the adidas logo and shirt sponsor. A memorial stamp on the bottom of the jersey commemorates the clubs 115 year anniversary.
The Away kit is decked out in black, taking inspiration from previous Madrid’s strips worn during they’re most successful periods, which is all the time, right? Like the home kit, the away shirt wears new trim colours. The neon turquoise green stands out nicely against the black, with the clubs badge being re-imagined, sharing the same colour.
