adidas Predator Instinct 94 | Revenge Instinct

You’ve known they were coming, and now they are here – the first of the adidas Revenge Instinct series has landed; the adidas Predator Instinct 94.

Over the next two weeks, adidas will re-launch three classic Predators on the chassis of the new Predator Instinct to create mashed-up football boots that bring the best of adidas’ new tech together with iconic designs from the past to mark the 20th anniversary of the adidas Predator.

Appropriately, the first up is the boot that started it all – the original adidas Predator released in 1994.

For all you whippersnappers out there, this boot started a dynasty; the raised fins were designed to give more spin, control and power.

That same style of fin has been re-captured on the adidas Predator Instinct 94, but now in the same SL Rubber as the Predator Instinct, for a lighter and more flexible upper than the Predators of old.

The adidas Predator Instinct 94 also boasts the same ControlFrame chassis as the current generation of adidas’ most innovative football boot series.

Old-school boot fans will no doubt sent down memory lane by the upper, which was designed to look like scales to help add to the visual impact of the Predator when it was first released.

Here on the adidas Predator Instinct 94, adidas have once again melded old and new, with a HybridTouch upper embossed with the same patterning as the original model.

If you’re after a pair of the adidas Predator Instinct 94, you’d better act fast – these will be a limited run release and are currently retailing in the UK for £260.
