Porsche and adidas have worked together to make a co-created football boot – the Porsche Design Sport 16 FG.
Beauty meets German engineering. adidas and Porsche have put their heads together and developed a football boot that looks elegant and timeless.
Design inspiration for this performance football boot, comes from the Porsche Design heritage and the the adidas Copa Mundial boot. The shape of the boot is traditional and timeless, just like the revered Copa.
The boot’s colourway, Core Black/Bare Copper Metallic, was chosen to create a distinctive, clean and premium product that would stay true to the history and philosophy of adidas and Porsche Design.
The personalities of both brands are demonstrated by the balance of the three stripe adidas branding on the medial side and Porsche Design branding on the lateral side.
As you might expect of a product with the Porsche branding, only the best materials were used when constructing the Sport 16 FG football boot; The boot has a full K Leather upper. This provides the highest level of precision to allow the perfect fit and comfort, whilst still maintaining a high level of performance. The upper also includes a new surface treatment to give it a unique, Porsche like satin metal effect, with the addition of the accent Copper Metallic heel clip for looks.
On the reverse of the boot, regulars will recognise the aggressive, sharp looking Messi 15.1 soleplate, all in black bar a little accent colour on the heel.
