adidas brought the savannah-toned city patterns into Manchester United’s 2019-20 season away kit.
From the inspiration of the streets of Manchester’s creative district, The Northen Quarter, adidas moved away from the traditional United away shirt colour into the savannah-toned intricate patterned design, inspired by the many mosaics in the city’s district.

adidas showed a lot of bravery in designing this clean savannah coloured paired with a secondary black colour that adorns the Adidas three stripes on the shoulder, crewneck collar, trimmed hen and United’s iconic badge and, to be fair adidas pulled it off! The Chevrolet sponsor logo blends in very nicely without compromising the design. The new away shirt blurs the lines between sports and style with the city’s artwork embedded deep within the design as the base colour overlaid with a subtle pattern.
The kit also features Climate technology to wick sweat and is made from 100% polyester. Manchester United 3d printed crest. The regular fit shirt is wider at the body, with a straight silhouette.
Manchester United will play Perth Glory, in Australia on 13th of July 2019 to kick off their pre-season tour wearing their 2019-20 season away uniform for the first time.
Music Artist Aitch born in Machester and also a Manchester United fan wrote a track to celebrate the launch, performing in the promotional video for the kit.
