After turning plenty of heads with their reveal this weekend, the Hunt Pack‘s glow-in-the-dark colourway has made it’s way on to the Three Stripes’ four small-sided game shoes as we get our first look at the adidas FreeFootball Hunt Pack.
Cynical fans might well find the FreeFootball Hunt Pack a little more of an agreeable release, as these shoes aimed at futsal and five-a-side players stand a slightly higher chance of being used in the dusk by players getting their game on outside.
The ControlSala is one of our office favourites from the FreeFootball Hunt Pack, with it’s radiating HybridTouch L-S upper providing a great pattern for the glowing colourway to follow.
Team that with mesh inserts on the heel cup and tongue, and you’ve got a shoe that’s as head-turning as it is eye-catching.
Another shoe that really looks the part in the Hunt Pack is the FreeFootball SpeedTrick.
Having been decked out in some brazen looks in the past, this model’s clean white soleplate and lower half are livened up by the glowing colour radiating through the upper – definitely something we think would have looked killer on the SpeedTrick’s full-size cousin – the f50 adiZero.
Another top shoe and a growing favourite amongst futsal players is the adidas Freefootball TopSala.
A re-fit of the old sala shoes that were a staple of indoor courts, the 2014 TopSala is combines a HybridTouch forefoot for traditional feel on the ball, whilst the rear is mesh supported by an external cage for maximum breathability.
Finally, the adidas FreeFootball X-ite is another long-running favourite, packing a brand-new construction for the FreeFootball Hunt Pack.
A mesh inner liner keeps the shoe as breathable and comfortable as a sock, whilst an external synthetic layer ensures that the boot is abrasion resistant and offering an assured touch on the ball.
Equipped with a faded, glowing colourway we’d love to see a few matches in the cage near us with players wearing these.
Which is your favourite of the four adidas FreeFootball Hunt Pack shoes?
