adidas are back once again with another stunning colourway for their now-signature F50’s – the adidas F50 adiZero miCoach – White / Energy / Black!
Following up the well-received Prime Blue / Energy football boots that Leo Messi gave a debut to last week and the Black / Electricity model that hits stores in February was never going to be an easy task, but adidas seem to have pulled it off!
The first time we’ve seen White used as the base colour for the new-style F50’s, the F50 adiZero miCoach – White / Energy / Black has a clean, athletic look that hasn’t been present in other, louder versions.
Weighing in at just 165g per boot, the F50 adiZero miCoach – White / Energy / Black is amongst the lightest available on the market, but that’s not to say the F50’s weight is the only thing it has going for it.
A third-generation SprintSkin upper uses a textured finish for supreme feel on the ball, whilst a combination of the SprintWeb that wraps the exterior and internal TPU Support bands provide your feet with an unparalleled level of support and stability.
Billed as the world’s first ‘Boot with a Brain’ the F50 adiZero miCoach – White / Energy / Black houses an optional miCoach Speed_Cell chip in a compartment built into the revolutionary Sprintframe chassis.
The Speed_cell then captures performance metrics whilst the wearer is in action, before transmitting that data wirelessly to a PC, iPhone or iPad – allowing players to measure and compare their top speed, distance covered and more.
Available from mid-February, the F50 adiZero miCoach – White / Energy / Black will land with a retail price of £149.99/$199.99 on the Footy-Boots.com store, and is expected to receive no official on-pitch support from adidas stable of players.
