ADIDAS F50 ADIZERO – BLACK/ELECTRICITY/WARNING

As with most big launches, there is a second colourway available to those who fancy a pair of the new adiZero football boots. But, unusually, we can safely say that the new new adiZero miCoach – Black/Electricity/Warning is the nicer of the two launch colourways!

Firstly, it really shocks us that the new adiZero miCoach – Black/Electricity/Warning isn’t the lead colourway; the adiZero line and the Black/Warning colourway has been something of a modern-classic colour combo for adidas, with the adiZero Prime launching in Warning/Black and the original leather adiZero arguably looking it’s best in the all-black/warning.

Still, we won’t complain, as adidas are offering up a seriously good-looking pair of football boots here, regardless of whether they’re the ‘lead’ colourway or not.

We mentioned in our main article that the new adiZero miCoach has lost a lot of the rounded edges that made the original such a stripped-back looking boot; instead opting for stealth bomber-esque angles and linear lines.

Nowhere is that more apparent that the heel section of the new adiZero miCoach – Black/Electricity/Warning, where the new, higher heel counter looks every bit like it could be a close up of an F-117 !

The new SprintWeb across the front is somehow more apparent on this version of the new adiZero football boots, shape of the TPU ‘web’, and displaying it’s lineage proudly, as it looks very similar to the old TPU Lateral support band from the adiZero Prime.

adidas have also used their favourite ‘electricity’ colour to great effect on the branding across the new adiZero miCoach – Black/Electricity/Warning, with the adidas and F50 logos looking great, and the stripes on the side in particular leap straight of the dark upper.

As with it’s launch stable-mate, it should be no surprise that the new adiZero miCoach – Black/Electricity/Warning comes either bundled with or ready to be hooked up with the new miCoach SpeedCell; meaning straight out of the box you can start tracking your progress in a game or training right away.

Do you expect these football boots to be popular with the professionals when they launch?

If so, which ones do you think will choose the new adiZero miCoach – Black/Electricity/Warning over the High Energy/Electricity?
