Adidas’ The Quest has been a marketing scheme epic enough to match it’s subject material.


But as of today, adidas has called an end to the Quest with this final video.

When you think back to start of The Quest and it’s first ever appearance, it was all about Messi wearing the f50i football boots for the UEFA Champions League final – and that was nearly 18 months ago!

Credit has to be given to the German sports giant, as they’ve persevered with this hyper-real campaign for longer than any football season, and it’s encompassed the Predator_X launch, the adiPure III reveal, 2 F50’s (including the adidas F50 adiZero) 2 Champions League finals, a full season in every country in the World (A season in a half in the US!) Two UEFA Champions League finals and a World Cup!

So, thanks to adidas and ‘The Quest’ for the epic virals, awesome imagery and sumptuous online graphic novels.

What will the Brand with the 3 Stripes cook up for this season? We seriously can’t wait to find out!

    Well i can’t really see adidas advertising the fact that Ramos wears T90s? And i can’t imagine Nike not changing other players boots to suit them 🙂
