It’s good to see that even a forward-thinking football boots company like adidas always seems to have room for the classics! Whilst it might not be the ‘lead’ colourway, we have little doubt that’s going to tarnish the popularity of the new adidas adiPower Predator – Black/White/Red!
Going way back to 1994, adidas brought out the original Predator and changed the way we thought about football boots. Rather than being functional, sporting pieces of footwear – as many boots were at the time – the Predator brought a sense of danger and excitement, both with the name and adding a splash of red to the regulation black-with-white-stripes upper.
Ever since, adidas have launched every incarnation in this timeless colourway – with their 11th entry in 17 years no exception, as seen here in with the adidas adiPower Predator – Black/White/Red.
Almost unrecognisable from their decades-old counterparts the adidas adiPower Predator – Black/White/Red does have a neat nod back to past in the form of (drumroll) a red tongue!
Whilst not the fold-over tongue many fans have been clamouring for since the launch of the Predator_X, the new, separate red tongue will surely be a welcome compromise for those who disagreed with the wrap-around collar of the X’s.
adidas have also taken time to ensure other areas of these exciting football boots received similar attention to detail, with the SG model’s colourway being complimented by metallic red studs that compliment the rest of the adidas adiPower Predator – Black/White/Red‘s design perfectly.
We’d be hard-pressed to choose between the Sharp Blue launch colourway and this classic Predator look, but we’ll have plenty of time to mull over our favourites until these classy fotball boots are released on July 15th, priced £155.

Woot!
Why does the first picture not have the part that covers the tongue?
are they going to release this in sg size 4? I hate it when they only release the other versions of the boot in smaller sizes as they are not half as good!Â
Awesome!!!!!It was time for the new predator revolution!!!!Â
Decent looking boot, but I preferred it when the FG versions used to have a white sole. I still have a pair of Manias which are still fantastic boots
 WHAT!!THIS IS BANANA’S!! B.A.N.A.N.A.S.!! THESE R HOT<3
The original Predator Look and Colourway, that is what I was talking about!
are these suppose to last longer than a season now? or will they be garbage like every other shoe on the market in regards to durability. i love the look of these and somewhat buy into the predator element garbage even though a true striker doesnt need help to control the ball or have a harder shot but i guess thats modern football for you. but given what companies are producing now-a-days i doubt they would last… “own the revolution” yea ok for 6 – 8 months then dish out another 200 no thanks…
Were or when will we be able to pre order these ones and not the blue and yellow ones?
 great!
