ZIDANE STARS IN ADIDAS ADI5 VIDEO

Back in February adidas revealed the newest design of their new adidas adi5 trainers, with the motto ‘Control. Don’t be Controlled.’.

But despite the excellent reaction they received here on Footy-Boots.com and the wide variety of awesome colourways on show, adidas seemed to be doing little to showcase the awesome new adi5‘s.

Now it seems that’s all set to change, with adidas’ latest teaser.

The video stars Zinedine Zidane as he dons the new adi5’s (not to mention some flashy-looking adi5 gear!) as he takes to a pristine-looking five-a-side pitch, in glorious sunshine.

Zidane’s calm pitch is contrasted to the high-speed, high-emotion of an indoor 5’s tournament going on amongst some youngsters.

As well as showcasing some serious skill, you can just about catch all four of the launch colourways for the new adi5 on the feet of the players as they flick, trick and strike their way through the game.

adidas assure us this is a teaser for something, but they won’t let on what! If we had to guess, we’d have to speculate that adidas are setting up some sort of 5-a-side tournament in France to promote the adi5, with Zizou somehow being involved in the final.

Though we hope for the players sake, he’s just a guest-referee or ambassador for adidas at the game, as the last time Zidane took to the pitch against some youngsters egos were left seriously battered!
