Everyone loves the adidas 11pro SL. Even if you don’t like the adiPure range or even adidas boots, the 11pro SL usually elicits a great reaction when a new colourway or update hits store shelves.
The concept of teaming top materials with speed boot construction means an old-school touch and feel for the ball with all the lightweight benefits that come with boots like the F50 – and the' adidas 11pro SL – Black / White / Solar Slime absolutely embodies all of that. As with the last 11pro SL, K-Leather wraps the forefoot for a glove-like fit that won’t ever over-stretch thanks to the stitching’s quilt-like pattern, meaning consistent feel for the ball every time you lace them up.
Whilst the midfoot and heel are synthetic, adidas have used that to their advantage with some clever construction. The Three Stripes hide a support saddle that is pulled snug in the midfoot by the central lacing system – this means the boot will lock the heel in place and offer a nice snug fit across the laces for catching shots and crosses with.
You’ll also notice the boot comes with the same FG SprintFrame and stud configuration as the recently-updated F50 adiZero.
Which also sees miCoach compatibility return to the silo – something that was ditched on the latest 11pro – making these an ideal choice for adiPure lovers who still own a Speed_Cell and want to make the most of it.
