Emmanuel Adebayor scored twice as Arsenal reach the last 16 of the FA Cup with a 3-1 extra-time win, in the replay at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium.
Four goals, two penalty misses, plenty of woodwork and a sending off!
The FA Cup came to life last night in an exhilarating encounter, which saw Arsenal beat Bolton 1 3 after extra time.
Bolton hung on, even after Gilberto hit a penalty way over the bar and Adebayor struck the post after rounding the keeper. Bolton however, were rewarded for their persistence when in added time, Meite scrambled the ball into the Arsenal net.
Substitute Freddie Ljungberg put Arsenal ahead in added time, with a clinical finish. Tal Ben Haim was then sent off for his second booking and Julio Baptista managed to hit another spot kick over the bar, before Adebayor slotted a third goal from close range.
Arsenal now entertain Blackburn this weekend in the last 16 of the FA Cup.
Adebayor, who has hit 9 goals for Arsenal this term, wears Adidas +F50 TUNiT football boots.
The football boot is the second generation of the TUNiT football boot series, which allows players to customise, adapt and tune their football boots to the weather, the pitch and their own style.
