England manager Roy Hodgson has announced that Southampton’s Adam Lallana will earn his first cap for England in this Friday’s match-up with Chile, and Puma are making sure their man is kitted out properly for the occasion.
Lallana will wear a bespoke pair of Puma evoSPEED 1.2’s in the Blackberry Cordial / Fluo Orange colourway, (in the leather upper with an SG plate – wise for the English winter) specially embroidered with the St George’s Cross and ‘Cap No 1’ to give Lallana a great memento of this historic moment in his career.
An England debut at Wembley will be just one of the highlights of what has been a great week for the Saints’ young star.
Lallana was on target with a memorable finish in their win over Hull City last Friday, leaving a handful of the Tigers defence on the floor in his wake before finishing tidily into the corner – a goal that characterises what Puma like to see players wearing the evoSPEED do to the opposition.
Surrounded by a combination of young English talent and international quality, and backed by a manager with Champions League ambitions, could Lallana’s ‘Cap No 1’ boots kick off a promising career for the adventerous midfielder?
