I've played in some pretty bad weather in mine, and have had no problems as yet - I think if you dunked your speedcell in a glass of water, it probably wouldn't survive.
But under the insole, it seems pretty waterproof!

That's right - or it comes with an iPhone/iPad/iPod touch adapter, there's also a package that comes with both if you're feeling fancy!

The reciever is the USB part which picks up the data from your Speed_Cell. The Speed_Cell itself does not plug into your computer. The USB reciever comes with the Speed_Cell in the package.

I'm getting a pair this week and I'm a little confused on the part where you say this:"adidas say the range between the SpeedCell and Receiver can be up to 10 feet; whilst this is probably true in a completely clear testing environment, you’ll probably need to bring your SpeedCell to within about 5-6ft in order to ensure a consistent connection."
I was under the impression that all you need to do is put in the miCoach in your shoe then plug it in the PC/iPod/iPhone and it will load up your information. What is the receiver?
