Everton have completed the permanent signing of Steven Pienaar.
The South African international has put pen to paper on a 3 year deal which will cost the Merseyside club £2 million.
The 26 year old had been linked with a number of other teams including Arsenal, Newcastle United and Valencia but was always keen to stay at Goodison Park.
Pienaar learnt his trade at the Ajax academy in Holland and has played 35 games for Everton this season, scoring twice.
Manager David Moyes said “Steven is one of the reasons our football has improved.”
