Well, of course its monetary. And nobody can say anything about it. What are you going to say “Why did you sign with them?”? Its normal companies go after such a famous person. He’s a footballer but so is Beckham(!).

Purely monetary. Makes no sense for a football player to be an ambassador for an oil company. Stick to NASCAR or F1.
