Ronaldo Injury Could End Career

Record World Cup goal scorer Ronaldo may have kicked his last ball in professional football.

The AC Milan striker ruptured a tendon in his left knee on Wednesday, an injury he suffered 8 years ago which saw him play 7 minutes in two years.

AC Milan who face Arsenal on Wednesday in the Champions League were playing Livorno when Ronaldo, 31, suffered the injury.

Over the last ten years, Ronaldo has become an icon in world football. The all time highest world cup goal scorer, two times World Cup winner, and three times FIFA World Player of the Year has revolutionised the way football is played; the way strikers play and score. He has run faster with the ball than anyone else and he has made goals a habit. Ronaldo’s speed, exceptional talent, technique, strength and clinical finishing has been one long goal-scoring masterclass.

Nike recently launched a special football boot for Ronaldo, just one thousand pairs of the Mercurial 98 football boots had been produced worldwide, to mark 10 years that Ronaldo had used the Nike football boot.
